I get a metro turbo pump, took it to bits and ground down the drive peg to the same size as a 998 one (All done with a 4.5" angle grinder, no need for accuracy, it's a sloppy fit as standard).

Then I drilled and tapped a new hole to bolt the pump on (one hole alreay lines up.

Simples. No point buying a second hand pump.

I've actually been looking at morspeed's 998 high flow fuel pump, which, for £25 seems the best option at the moment.

Has anyone used these before?

I thought morspeed had gone to the wall?

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

How is that website still online?

As above you'd be better off spending all your money on magic textbooks and trying to cast a high capacity spell on your current oil pump, then buying one from Morspeed.

I have actually just got a reply from morspeed, so I'd imagine they're still going?

And the only problem with doing that is that I have next to no tools available to me and no workshop to work in either. As I also need to order some new bearing and maybe a crankshaft, I might as well get the pump from them at the same time.

You've been warned.

Have a look at some other members' experiences.

When you say past experiences, do you mean with morspeed's oil pump? Or modifying a metro one?

Thanks for the advice though, I'll start looking around for metro pumps then

I have a couple of complete 3.1 diffs kicking about if this thread hasn't wandered too far off track.

Metric is for people who can't do fractions.
