I'm just rebuilding my engine, how do you guys run your engines in? there seems to be so many different ways of bedding the rings in. What running in oil are you using?

cheap oil, 2k for 15 mins, ,change oil , then same again, change oil,the a couple of hours at 2-3k, |

mineral oil, 2k rpm for 15-20 minis to knock the cam in then 8 trips up the pod for me Yes i moved to the darkside |

Let it idle at 2k rpm to bed in the cam and followers, take it to a nice back lane, 3rd gear slots of aceleration and letting it decelerate, eg cruise at 2k rpm, accelerate lightly upto 4k then back to 2 etc etc for drive like this for 59mile or so Audi s4 b5 - 470bhp & 486ft lbs

I am using coma 20/50 and only 7 psi off boost for 500 miles beating in mind my cr worked out insanely low. Own the day

I did 20 minutes at 2k rpm, out on the road lots of low rpm load. Did that for 15 minutes then upto 4k at 7psi drive like normal for 300 miles then boost to 10psi and rolling road.
