So, I need a set of tyres for BIR1 and was wondering what is the best option?? I am mainly going to run him at trackdays, so a track oriented tyre is what I am after. On my Autobianchi racecar I run Yoko 048R Soft in 175/50-13 and it would be nice to be able to run the same tyre/wheel combo on the mini. But a lot of folks say to go down on rim size.. I have the brakes ready so it is possible to put on 10"

Force rims and yoko tyres, any of the sizes really, my force tens weigh 2.589 kg 10x6 and 2.61+ 10x6.5 on my scales. Many folks use these on the road and track or some mamba's as there light too Drives

I found the Yoko 032R's by far the best I have used. Ive only used then 6X10's but I now have them fitted to 6.5X10's and they don't look overly stretched on them either. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

Do you think 032R's are better than 048R?? Is not the 048R a much newer tyredesign?? www.shag.no |

As wolfie says the 032's are about as close as you can get to the 048's in 10 inch. There are different compounds available too. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

Without a doubt, 12" A048R tyres offer much more grip in the dry than A032Rs in ten. I guess in 13" even more. It depends on if you want much grip or nice forgiving handling. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

OK, I think I stick to 13" then :) It is a good thing to try to keep different the wheel sizes to a minimum (that counts for all parts really) :) www.shag.no |
