Hi,

Standard metro turbo conversion project.

So over the weekend i have made some progress, installed my X pin diff changed the cam, rebuilt and dropped into the car.

i was nearing the stage of first start so i was testing the fuel system to make sure all was ok, however when it pressurized i noticed the float chamber under the carb began to leak, this carb was taken straight from a metro turbo so am confused to why this is happening.....

I plan on just rebuilding it, as presume the rubber seal is faulty(how do you get those strange screws off the bottom?), i just thought there might be some obvious thing that someone on here knows as a potential cause....

Many Thanks,

Jon

Am going to ask a simple and on the face of it stupid question. You have fitted the fuel pressure regulator and set it to 3-5 psi? Silly I know.

Own the day
