I had a local company rebuild my transmission several years ago. Now, trying to put my idler gear in place, it fits fine into the bearing on the transmission, but does not fit to the clutch housing bearing (neither the new bearing I put in, nor the old bearing). Are the idler bearings for Turbo engines smaller in diameter than standard trannies (suspecting that the shop swapped out some of my parts!)...

you may have an A series casing which will be smaller bearing size, and you may have ? A+ idler gear and gearbox
