hi guys not been on for a rw weeks as iv been moving house but its all sorted now and back on with the turbo build so i orderd my a/f ratio gauge today and wondered if anyone wouldnt mind welding the sensor boss for me as im guessing it has to be totaly sealed. and my welding isnt perfect.

Done now needs redoing lol

if you have a welder mate just have a bash, throughly clean the area and give it a couple passes

i thought it may have to be sealed really well that was all and i know some of you guys have tig welders which would be better for the job, but if it doesnt really matter then i shall, am i correct in thincking best place for sensor is before the knuckle in the exhaust?

Done now needs redoing lol

Hi mate, if you drop it round to mine- I live in horn castle which is down the road, il weld it up for you at work! Fabricator by trade you see! If you do it yourself just get it good and clean and protect the threads from spatter. Cheers Ben

Oh yeah make sure you fit a bung in place when welding, otherwise it will more likely distort.

You ll be suprised how much you can get away with, many exhaust firms are not air tight

This is where I put my boss, when its on the car it faces the opening in the subframe just right to bring the wire through, make sure you angle it up slightly..
