I tanked up at about 2pm (cos my tank was low, not because I'm worried about a shortage) there were significant queues for the time of day but no worse than a typical Sat/Sun afternoon. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

When is this likely to start? Im hopeful of getting stuck at home and getting a few paid days off. I never knew I needed a licence for my 20L jerry can, where do I get one from? Im hoping for the same thing. Im trying my best to burn the rest of my fuel off before/if they run out.

No idea, we have been filling ours for years. Some garages get funny, but once it is full it is a bit late. Just fill it out of site of the till ladies.

well i managed to run out in the audi again this evening on the way home (it doesn't go as far on empty as the old car did!). The wife took me to the local station to get a can and i filled her car up at the same time - only had deisel left. went and got mine going and went back to the same place and managed to put £2.64 in before they ran out of diesel!

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

Not seen any yet, but then I don't leave the house. That Wazzock of a PM has told everyone to fill up, I believe. To be fair, the same would happen if he hadn't said anything. Slightest bit of news coverage and the sheep are out brimming the tanks. The media has a lot to answer for in the last few years, far too often things are over egged to the point of no return. |

No queues here, apart from at Morrisons where all the cheap skates and coffin dodgers go. |
