I am selling my intercooler as I will be getting a custom one made up for behind the grill. It's a ford cosworth 2wd intercooler, with the end tank turned 90degrees, the take off cut down and a bead of weld around the edge, all welded by TM's own, Tom Fenton, it took a fair bit of tweaking to get it to fit under a roundnose, it took two trips to toms and 2 hose reducers as I cut both down too short the first time around. So I am including the pipework for the turbo side, and the reducer for the other side.

would this set up work with the bonnet fully closed? (It looks like you've got the pins set up for the raised bonnet) |

The back of the bonnet sits about an inch at the rear, I'm not sure as its always been lifted. With a smaller altenator it would definately fit. Audi s4 b5 - 470bhp & 486ft lbs

good deal that. i run the same setup on my car. if you cut and weld the strengtheners to the underside of the bonet to clear the pipework it can be made to fit with the bonnet fully closed. as seen in my build thread. dan |

Oh yes that reminds me Rob, it won't fit with the bracing on the underside of the steel bonnets. Audi s4 b5 - 470bhp & 486ft lbs

we cut mine out and rewelded shallower bracing sections in. i also ground a flat top to one of the alternator lugs to get the ic to slit as low down as possible. it will fit quite neatly but is tight! if you need pics let me know, cheers, dan |
