Ah the picture is incorrect I'll fix it now, the washers are correct and have always been supplied in sets of 10 since ST days, maybe because when they used to do 11 stud heads one bolt had a built in washer? If you have a 9 stud head think of it as an extra one for when one magically rolls under the car/bench never to be found again :) |

could the extra washer have been for when bolting down the coil bracket after torquing the head bolts? albeit the nut hasn't been supplied? |

As t3gav says there are 10 washers because of the 11th stud being a bolt with built in washer.
I seriously doubt it! |
