Hey guys :)

So I bought the head stud kit from mini spares seen here:

http://www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=...id=36925&title=

and this as well:

http://www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=...id=42659&title=

And its just arrived, however I have no key as to which part number goes to where on the cyl head and the one thing thats confusing me is this:

http://www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?ty=...id=35080&title=

I have these washers but there is 10 of them? I have 9 head studs, so A) why is there an extra one B) is this the right set of washers for the studs that attach the head to the block? Because looking at the picture of the original head stud kit it shows 11 of these in the picture?

Real confused right about now.

Cheers for your help as usual :)

Hypothetically speaking, where would you stick your nozzle?

Ah the picture is incorrect I'll fix it now, the washers are correct and have always been supplied in sets of 10 since ST days, maybe because when they used to do 11 stud heads one bolt had a built in washer? If you have a 9 stud head think of it as an extra one for when one magically rolls under the car/bench never to be found again :)

could the extra washer have been for when bolting down the coil bracket after torquing the head bolts? albeit the nut hasn't been supplied?

As t3gav says there are 10 washers because of the 11th stud being a bolt with built in washer.
Notice too that t3gav is Gavin from Minispares so he will know what he is talking about

I seriously doubt it!

Yeah sorry I had Jimbo change my username as the @ in the previous username was preventing me from replying or starting new topics.
