Anyone know of a decent roof scoop that will fit a classic mini ok? Not just cosmetic, needs to have the gubbins with the air vents inside too.

Thanks

Have you tried demon tweeks? Or jjc?

I fitted the one from JJC last summer to my 205. It went on the 205 OK but I think on a Mini you'd need to position it back from the very front of the roof as I don't think it would fit neatly around the curve contour of the roof.
The one I bought was reasonable quality but I couldn't help think it bloody expensive for two vacuum formed plastic cowls, a pair of £5 swivel vents and a length of windscreen washer pipe.

I've seen a few but as Tom says, most of them don't look like they would fit near the front of the mini roof due to the old fashioned design with the tight curve above the windscreen.

And yes they seem expensive for what they are! I could probably make the inner part in ally, or a mould for FG ones to be made, some of them don't look nice on the outside either...

I know they make sense, but I just dont like the ones that open and close flat to the roof! Dont look quite right to me, but makes a lot of sense when you are in heavy rain or go through a water splash..... not that a mini would still be moving in wet conditions...

I might just buy one of these:

and then a nice looking carbon "decorative" (lol) scoop for the roof, which I can use as a functional one. Should be a decent way of doing in, I assume I can just bond both inner and outer parts to the roof skin?
