Hiya i took a chance on a batch of 4 turbo's that are supposed T2's but i could see there flanges were not the usuall 4 stud but they were mega cheap and i could see at least one looks like a R5 gt. well they eventually turned up tonight just as i was leaving worki had a quick look and the one thing i noticed was that one said ford t2.
My question is are these any good or are they not worth doing anything with.

They're of fiesta RS Turbos

The bottom left looks very similar to my garrett t2?

yeah all fiesta turbos bar the bottom left, that looks like an r5 turbo,
the core's and compressors should be interchangeable with little work but you will need to use the R5T2 exhaust housings

on a closer look though, there seems to be 4 different turbo's there

cheers guys yep thats what i thought. the botom left one is the only one with the 4 bolt flang and pretty sure its a R5 one i have another somewhere with a snapped shaft. with a clean up i will try and get the numbers off them.
Has anyone got any experience with fiesta T2's or any specs.
I might as well say i paid £34 delivered for all 4 not that i had the money but didn't Think i was gona win but thats what the credit card is for better hide the statment from the wife lol.

Does anyone know any good sites to check turbo numbers ar where i might get maps for the T2's as the garrett site has nothing. Thanks James

if you want the map for an r5t2 then search on here its somewhere
goggling the numbers usually brings good results but the t2 is old and its not in any part number lists i have, so dont expect much

cheers yeah i will clean them up and get the numbers off them. I thought one of the three bolt ones looked smaller so that is probably a t15 or something. Thanks again james

Just for anyone interested i got them all spinning cleaned up and numbers down. now im just trying to track down what they are.
1 is a gt1544 which is ok as im using one on an engine im starting to building at the moment
1 looks alot like the r5 one but comes up as rover Maestro/montego 2l diesel but as far as i can check at the moment same spec as r5
1 is from a ford escort 1.8 diesel and reads as T2
and the last one looks the same and says T2 on it but cant read/trace number

the rover ones exhaust housing is spotless no crack between exhaust wheel and wastgate. Im quite pleased just need to find more projects to put them on ah and rob a bank to fund them lol

I did think that the one in the top left of the pic was a gt15,
