The lock tabs on the bolts in my clutch housing are pretty well stuffed. It looks like it would cost me $20 to replace them, so I'd love a cheap but good alternative. What are you using? Lock washers? LocTite? Other? **************************************

Loctite and plain washers for me (I don't like using spring washers on aluminium surfaces, I find they tend to dig in). Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |

Loctite and plain washers -locktabs are unreliable over time as they slowly compress and relax the pressure on the thread. |
