Hi, not another "are they noisy" or "can I use them with my standard 998" question, I was wondering how worth it you thought spending the extra on the very nice MED roller type was.

I see they have a new design with wider teeth and floating primary bearing etc which look the nuts, but not sure if I can justify spending £340 on them. I'm going to be rallying my mini, and often hear a bad rap about the standard type idler breaking etc, hence the question.

Here they are:

I do have a perfect normal SC set I already bought which I could sell towards these, but it's too easy to keep spending money on things that don't always need buying! Also not having to shim the idler would be nice!

overkill in my opinion, my drops have been fine and they haven't had an easy life to say the least!
