I have already made up the bracketry, got the UJ's, CDS tube etc to make my tilted column, and have even tacked it all up in the car.

Only you can decide that dude. For me to bring the steering column closers to me so i can fit further back in the car and further down....that would be worth it. On 19th Feb, 2011 Miniwilliams said:

I've already modified a straight column using CDS tube so it is lighter and a better length, so position isn't an issue, it's just getting a slightly better angle but as I sit so low in the car the angle isn't too bad anyway!
