To all those running their cars with just a bare steel roof, what is the noise like while driving?

I am thinking of taking mine off but wondering whether it may be a bit vibratey? (if thats a word)

It depends what your using your car for? Mine was fine until I solid mounted the engine and now it resonates like mad at certain rpm's.

if your mini has all other sound proofing removed then you wouldnt notice much imo,
this is my mini, solid mounted front subby, practicly solid engine, zero sound deadening

The only time you'll really notice the difference is when it rain heavily.

This may not be relevant, but I have lined the roof of several cars with 1" polyether foam, covered in either vinyl or fabric and it is superior to the suspended form of lining in sound suppression and no heavier.

I could not contemplate any distance in a car with no sound insulation.

Brett, nice looking dash you have there. Didnt hear any vibrating, just straight cuts and exhaust *happy*
