if so ? i was commenting when i posted my thread that the pole showed! a slight lead on 11 stud configurations that us chaps use ....

if i have got this wrong guys ....

no reason I can see not to add the extra studs if the engine is apart.
simple to do and adds more stiffness of gasket interface at ends of head.

If you have had your engine apart, 9 stud option is for lazy people!!!

benross, your second post makes sense. The first one is still Greek to me! Must be a regional language difference? I'm not from the UK, so some of things that are said over there are unintelligible to me...

Maybe another pint will help me.

Last time I experienced Spotted dick It called for a visit to see Dr love.

Well the answer I was thinking of was custard, and the ambrosia type before you start being crude.

I don't know can always count on you Dave to lower the tone.........!!!!!!!!!!

But I suppose some Yanks don't have much of a sense of humour like us Brits so you need to keep your hand in somehow....

Well, my response would have been "penicillin", but seeing as Dave has beat me to that (as it were), and been reprimanded by Tom, I'll have to take the high road and say that nothing is better than a spot of tea with cream and sugar, hold the custard (spotted dick is just fine without it!).

Dear oh dear, you have failed miserably.....

Spotted dick comes with custard (its the rules) And also tea with cream in? That would never do....a spot of milk is what you want.
