If you buy something from the US, to get a good idea how much it will cost in £££s as it lands on your mat, just do a straight conversion from $$$s to £££s. This takes into consideration postage, VAT and any customs clearance charges. This has been the case more than once when I have bought from the US, and last one was as recent as 3 weeks ago.
