Anti run on valve stuck open, or possibly carb balance pipe is perished. Anti run on valve is more likely. Just disconnect the pipe from the valve and block the pipe to see if it fixes it. |

I will have a look in a bit steve as i think i have a good fuel pump i can pop in the post for you to try

I had a mate with a metty turbo that did this, it was back when I dint know much about cars so we didnt find the cure....

If the car drives but dies when you start to build up boost, I would be very surprised if it is the fuel pump. Did it drive fine below 2000 rpm?
