Hi,

I'm struggling again! Decided to get rid of the old carb and get a new one that I know is good. The problem I am having now though is that the engine will run and rev fine when it's not in gear. As soon as I try and drive it I have to feather the throttle to get it to come on boost. If I put my foot to the floor it feels like its holding back. It doesn't cut out it just won't pick up any speed. My fuel pressure is at 4psi. It's had new carb, new plugs, new battery, new dizzy, coil and ignition module in the last 6 months. This is all new as I was on megajolt but I had no idea how to map it so went back to the setup. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I feel like I'm so close to have string it sorted! Cheers!

I'm using 3 in 1 for dash pot oil and I've had the mixture screw in as rich as it would go. Still no joy!

3 in 1is too thin, get some 20/50 in there...

also the mixture screww wont make a massive difference to the fueling at anuthing much above idle... thats what its for, to set idle mixture... for higher up you need a different needle,

also without a wideband youre pretty much pissing into the wind trying to sort the running mixture, about all you can do is look at the plugs to see what colour they are.

Possibly try another coil? I had this once, granted it wasn't on a turbo but still, my last coil didn't last long, some of the new stuff is not as good as it used to be. Just my 2p anyway. Hope you get it sorted.

i got nothing but time..

I would first try fitting 2 carb springs in dash pot, thicker dash pot oil, blocking off lean off pipe if not tried any yet.
