Does anyone know how to remove the oil pressure relief seat insert from the block.

Run a M10 tap inside, then use a slide hammer with an M10 bolt, job done :)

All of the information that you need should be available on this page I think (http://home.earthlink.net/~roygmisc1/convert1/convert1.html). It even shows a cross section with the seat.
