Anyone own a Go Pro Hero camera? If so would you reccommed it? What version did you get and where from?

I have the go pro HD Hero camera. I think it is awesome. I haven't used it much yet. I got mine at 4wheelparts.com here in the states before christmas. 1991 mini cooper

I was at Rutland Cycling the other day and they were saying that they could not keep up with demand. Certainly very popular.

My brother has the 960p one, its great. Only used it for jumping in the pool and things like that though. Got it on holiday from Best Buy in Florida.

Yeah think the one in link is the last spc (hero not hero2) 1080p motorsport version.

Been looking at the tubular one. Saw a video of motor bike drifting all shout from go pro cameras and I have to say the quality was extremely impressive to the point I'm thinking of getting one brought over from the states. Own the day

im now looking at the motorsports hero2 - it has a wider aspect ratio, can also shoot 11 megapixels and has a better lens but the motorsports hero (the first edition) looks great and still shoots in 1080p.. (5 megapixels).. about £90 difference in cost.

I'm very happy with the Go Pro, I've used the 1st and 2nd edition of the HD versions. Highly recomended On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

I've got a HD hero 2 and the picture quality is noticeably better than the contour cameras. I've used it on 2 snowboarding holidays and i love it! they are also bomb proof i ran over mine with my board and it just scratched my board!
