Renewed seal on sender unit.
Used a thin film of sealer on the top access for in side fuel pump.
Inside fuel pump fitted.
All pipes are new.
But still I get a smell of fuel inside the boot, has any one had this trouble or any ideas would be helpful
Thanks in advance guys..

Unlikely, but I've had a neck rust through where it goes through the body, so vapours (and fuel) could get out that way?

breather through the boot floor will still get you the smell in the boot as the vapours will linger under the car even when rolling, i stopped it on mine by running the vent to near enough at the rear valance. And rubber fuel hose (inc braided) will geenrally sweat a teensy tiny bit of fuel, enough to notice the smell lol.

I've used flouro *happy* lined silicon fuel pipe, do you think that may be sweating a fuel smell?..

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Yes beginning to think your right, I've changed from a 5.5 ltr tank to a 7.5 ltr spi tank, didn't notice the smell with the old tank and I'm sure I would have..

As standard the breather should exit through the hole cut in the boot flour under the passenger rear light cluster and drop down and almost clear the rear valance.
