What clutches are people using?? i am just about to order a load of parts to rebuild my engine and have become stuck for what to do with my clutch. Should i use a standard metro turbo clutch. Or could i use the early type clutch with a uprated diaphragm and clutch plate? I have a early lightened and balanced flywheel and backplate. The engine should have around 120 banana. any help appreciated. ron |

The earlier setup is capable of handling greater torque, and also is easier to get uprated parts for. I think all the big horsepower boys are running the early set-up, with uprated components e.g. rally type plate and grey spring.

toms right, some people say you don't need a grey, I use a grey, with both sintered and rally plate, the clutch still slips at max torque, On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:
