Use the best old ones that you can lay your hands on. The modern ones aren't as good as the OEM ones.

I managed with just two hands.

Just press the pins and the thrust washer drops enough to hold them in.

There's a good Minimania video on YouTube. Lots of bashing and crashing, but still good info.

I managed to get some rover ones from Minispares at the end of last year. Don't know whether they still have any.

When rebuilding my box I used the originals rather then the set of steel minispares ones I had, the new minispares ones looked worse then the 40k ones I re-used.

Next rebuild I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and fit the steel minispares ones.

When I rebuilt my box I bought new genuine Rover bulk rings from Somerford, they were half the price of Mini spares. I don't know if they still have any left.

Sheffield South Yorkshire GB.

Use a plastic tie around the body of the syncro, get the outer part on a flat surface, slide the middle down with springs and balls resting on the outer ring followed by a plastic tie, make sure its pulled tight on the middle slide it over the ball bearings, then push the syncro together, that's how I do mine..
