Does any one know anything about using an evacusump breather system or installing it?
and where I can get a suitable spark arrestor?

Apparently there was a topic on here a few years ago, but I can't seem to find it, if it's still about could someone point me in the right direction please?7

Cheers

Dont bother if you have a turbo.

I tried it and it seemed to make bugger all difference and the catch tank never collected any oil.

I still have a box of bits somewhere that I discarded and, ironically, last weekend. the pipe in the exhaust that I fitted for the evacusump and now have blanked off started to leak !

nah, it won't be for a turbo job.

and I shan't be using a catck tank, I belive the can on the timing cover is enough, but if not then I'll make up a little catch tank.

Was there a kit you bought, and where?
specifically the spark arrestor?

I made everything except the non return valve in the line from the exhaust which was a Moroso product.
I still have this somewhere.
Even N/A you will need a catch tank to intercept any oil extracted from the air that is drawn out of the engine or it will be blown straight down the exhaust and show as smoke.

do you know what the part number for the valve was? I am planning on fabricating everything else too.
