My friend PJ whi bought Dan Websters old engine has got some issues with his KAD bit.
We were supposed to remove the right Pot joint, and when knocking it out, the entire output shaft came along with it. Now we're having difficulties getting it back in. Is this an engine out job to get in again? Has anyone got any drawings of how this look?
The KAD site is down..

seems that KAD never made these, it might be a Jack Knight item. Anyone got experience with these?

form what i have seen breifly. the ectra long output shaft is held in just like an LSD H/S output with a circlip on the inner end,
if the circlip has broken it may be blocking the way for the shaft to return home,

That was exactly what Petter wanted to hear *happy*

To get to the side cover, the exhaust has to come off. To get the exhaust off, the engine needs to be tilted forwards. To tilt the engine forwards, the radiator and inlet needs to come off....

Engine out job? *wink*

You can certainly remove the side cover with an lsd type output shaft on the rhs with the manifold in place if that helps!

IT looks extreamly tight, not sure if i can fit the spanner between the manifold and the sidecover, but will give it a try this weekend
