possible swiftune/quaife limited slip dif. group buy

hi, i have made contact with nick at swiftune regarding a possible group buy on their atb limited slip differentials.

for 5 units i have been quoted £508.75 + Vat per diff, so £610.50 per diff inclusive of vat.

its not a huge saving from the listed price, but still reasonalbe at around £50 saving per unit.

if we can get 10 interested the price will drop slightly further.

i will have to set a time limit for people to list their interest and for payment to be recieved.

i will also need to take £30 per person to cover postage costs (swiftune cannot advise postage until the number of units has been confirmed). i will ship them out recorded delivery, insured. anything left from the £30 will be returned once the items have been shipped.

i am willing to provide reciepts of price and postal reciepts, as well as my name, address and contact number for transparency purposes

payment would have to be made via paypal or personal cheque.

so i really need to get this up and running, i need people to confirm for sure if they want one by may 7th, and payment will have to be recieved by 14th may. please list if you want one of these, if we are unable to raise the numbers i will let nick know. cheers, dan

granted its not a huge saving. this is the best price that they were able to give me. as swiftune are the only supplier of these its either this price or full price. i am doing this at cost, so this really is the best price by the looks of it.

have you tried contacting quaife directly as they sell them; being a UK company and all?

i just looked at the last group buy i did we got them for £547 and i posted out for £21.65 insured that was for 11, approx £105 saving at the time.

Dan it would pay to put a post up on other forums to get 10+

yes, this isnt as good as the saving from the previous group buy that you did neil. however its the best price that they can give me. for 10+ the price drops by about 13 quid from the price given at the moment, so not really worth it.

i am going to buy one of these, its probably easier for me just to pay the extra 50quid and not have the hassle of arranging a group buy. i thought that if there were a few people on here interested in this then i would help out to save a few people a couple of quid. if there isnt enough interest it doesnt matter. cheers, dan
