I'm etching, seam sealer and stone chip under mine. Then it will be getting colour over the top of that. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Aerosol stonechip is shite, the reason being it has to be so watery to be able to be sprayed out of an aerosol can that it is not thick enough to get decent build on a panel. You need a proper underseal/Shutz gun and compressor to do it right.

Mayo, 2k unerneath would be fine on its own so long as its got a good ground (etch ) coat first. Presuming thats the look your after Cheers Rick. I've got the etch and thinners already. A reasonable gun is waiting for me at the post office. The stone chip goes on with a gun, got that too I'll be stealing Mike race's compressor at the weekend. May even give it back at some point

Use a waterbased stonechip rather than a solvent as solvent base stays soft and the colour coat cracks I seriously doubt it! |

The wurth sks i use is water based and the upol raptor is a 2 pack product i think it is designed for truck beds or something but i like the texture and toughness. My small bore turbo project http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.php?p=vt&tid=473901 |

I've just stonechipped the inside of a wing using the type that you spray from a gun and I was impressed with the results, it gave a nice even finish and looks like it should be very resilient. I had no problems painting over it, but I was using cellulose.

) etc. Then i paint in 2k body paint sometimes with a rubberiser addative. I do prefer body colour underside looks tidy and i find easier to clean
