In way over my head (as is usual for most of my projects.) Finally completing my n.a. 1275 rebuild which is going into my Frogeye. Sorry it's neither a turbo nor a Mini, guys, I hope you'll forgive me. It is my first ever engine rebuild and I did make the mistake of reading David Vizard's book.....
The specifics are:
Cam: SPVP3, valves: big, 1.41 in, 1.21 ex. rockers: 1.5. C.R.: 10.2:1.
I have a 36-1 wheel on the crank and a single tooth on the cam. LCB exhaust, Datsun 5-speed x-mission.
MS3/3X.
My intention is to start the engine and bed in the cam using HS2s on a maniflow manifold and the pertronix based dizzy. Once I am certain that it actually works I will monitor the MS3 and then switch to using it to control the ignition, (coil per plug.) Eventually, I will construct a manifold/plenum and switch to injection. I am very interested in the Siamese code for MS3.
In the future I will refrain from mentioning that my project is an inline engine, and doesn't have a turbo.
Looks like a great forum.

Hello and welcome.

Your car is fine. We don't exclude people based on engine orientation *wink*

Welcome.

No need for anything Siamese specific to run the MS3 & MS3X. It will do the job straight out the box with standard v1.0 code.

I shall be documenting the setup as I go through the process on one of our cars in the coming months.
