recently got my mini no major plans as of yet
however its a stage 1 1275, ive been told to change the carb (hs4 currently) if i take it any further (inevitable)

however opposed to a bigger carb would it be cheaper to run 2 X HS4's?
only debating this as i have a spare carb that came with the car and twin carb manifolds arnt that much,

any real gains?
what would it be like in comparison to a single hif 44 or hs6 ?

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

a single hif44 will provide enough fuel and air for 200+ bhp. Why do you need more?

Are they twins complete with manifold and linkages? or just 2 hs4's?

I have twin hs4's on mine and it goes really well but mines a 66 mk1 and i wanted the old school tuning look.
A hiff 44 would be an easier option for tuning.(I have one complete with mg manifold if you want to swap?)

Presumably the other HS4 is a standard single carb. Usually the other half of a twin setup is a different model.

It can be done but it's a difficult job to relocate the float chamber, fit linkages etc.

I remember struggling for months to get two HS4s working back in the 80s. Don't go there when there are so many HIF44s available that will do a perfectly good job.
