just been speaking to my local mini place and he reckons a full straight cut box is crazy loud for the road, personally i love the noise are they ott for the road? do you guys where ear plugs or what, or is it just that this guy is old and too old skool lol |

i was disapointed at how quiet my s.c gears were! unless ive got a good set or something?

yeah i used the minispares ones too, looked to be good quality and went togeather nicely, they might be a lot louder if your running a quieter engine than me but i love the noise anyway so they suited me down to the ground, the ratios are better too.
doh! why did i start messing with it!

he also said the syncros dont line up and you chip teeth spose if you dont use a clutch! |
