I'm looking to fit some air temp gauges into my intercooler setup, pre and post the intercooler.

Everyone knows the cheapy LCD display ones with the thermistor, is it possible to loosen a jubilee clip and poke the wire into the pipe for a reading without getting a boost leak, after re-tightening the jubilee of course.

Thats what we did. Didn't seem to cause any leaks?

I used similar to what Johnny linked, and brazed it into a piece of the intercooler piping! Worth mentioning though, I had to modify it in a lathe as I wasn't happy with the probe not clearing the base of the fitting
