I'm looking to fit some air temp gauges into my intercooler setup, pre and post the intercooler.

Thats what we did. Didn't seem to cause any leaks? If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

anybody use the real cheap ones? How accurate are they? I'll be running a couple on mine Audi s4 b5 - 470bhp & 486ft lbs

I used similar to what Johnny linked, and brazed it into a piece of the intercooler piping! Worth mentioning though, I had to modify it in a lathe as I wasn't happy with the probe not clearing the base of the fitting |
