The misses just reported on her skoda, she had what she described as "smoke" come out the fuel cap hole (her words) when she went to fill up.

Any ideas? I know very little about the diesel fuel system. I assume its under pressure and is probably just vapour.......

its a 58 plate 1.9 tdi type of engine skoda fabia

Sure she didn't. Put petrol in? If deisel don't worry its fine
