im on about standard rockers.....
so which type are better?
the later type ones or the early forged ones like these?

They are pressed steel ones. I read somewhere (poss calver feature in mini mag) that the other type are less prone to wear.

The pressed steel type (pictured) are closer to 1.3:1 than the later sintered type.

The forged 1.5:1 are pretty rare and expensive so youre better off getting roller tipped if you wanted 1.5:1.

I run the pressed ones (as pictured) wherever I can - they have a marginally better ratio and can be rebuilt.

Metric is for people who can't do fractions.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

The pressed steel ones are 1.295 ratio and are good make sure the shafts not worn out on them,

I heard people run a small weld over the top of the presse steel ones to give these a bit more strength?

I have a set of these, tho just replaced my head gasket and don't fancy doing it again just to fit these rockers.

Why would you have to replace your head gasket to replace the rockers?

Ive reused fairly new head gaskets before with no problems.

Got a welded set on the misses 1275 made a heap of difference from the stock 1s

13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat!
