the amount or work is vertually the same, i think i'd go 16v fo that extra bit of pep...

8v is quite torqey and cheaper to build, 16v heads are 300ish nowerdays and 8v 150-200ish that i have seen. I have an 8v in my second bedroom atm which i have been doing a small amount of port work on and i have to say its a nice compaft package as it has the injectors in the head instead of the tbs/inlet tracts on the 16v Drives

the torque cure ont eh 8v is flat as...

the hard part to turboing them is the manifolds....
