I have ITB's on my Zetec Turbo engine.

Each port has a vac take-off after the butterfly.

I need to plumb in the 3 bar map sensor, dump valve, boost gauge, and Fuel pressure reg.

I'm currently planning to have all four take-offs plumbed together, then T into each end of the joined hoses to give me the four take-offs I need.

But could I just use each individual take-off for each component???

Cheers for any Input.

Steve

my logical thinking says no, as there will be no vacuum to read when then valve is shut and no air flow. it mentions on the autosport lab site for the megajolt set up to run individual lines to a collection box and take feeds from there. iirc

one day boost will be mine!

All four need to be connected together then just on take off to whatever you need it for. If you do not join them all together the average vacuum will be lower

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

you may struggle to get a decent vacuum reading either way.

ITB's normally use alpha numeric (TPS) for fuel map scaling for this very reason.

I run a tps on a specialist components ecu, and will get it setup there. I'm fairly sure that's how it was mapped before?!
