first clutch.

I got a fealing that my slave or master is on its way out.

it works fine when im driving normally, but when im gunning the beans out of it, the pedal feels like its got air in it and im struggling to change gear. not sure but I think im starting to get a little clutch slip as well, the clutch is an orange and second hand, no leaks that i can see.

Rev limiter.

if i set the rev limiter to 6500rpm i hit it no problem, but when its in the 7000's it never hits. ive cheaked the mj the make sure its set. is there anything im missing? oh and i dont have a rev guage to look at so i dont know where im at when driving.

any help is much appreciated.

Resident Cylinder Head Modifier

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

firstley the orange diaphram is not up to the job change that for a grey. *wink*

make sure your slave cylinder is coming fully out on one full depress of the clutch pedal, peel back the rubber and check this,
if it its the case the the problem wil lie with the orange cover whats worn.

if it dont come fully out try bleading the master cylinder if it wont blead its goosed!! change it

of corse there could be other issues as well but i have advised on the basics first to check.

Rev limiter ....how do you know where you are without having a taco ? apart from having the laptop in the passangers seat hooked up to the MJ ......... i would sort the taco out first! *Yes*

AND check the software configs first again ............. if you are sure they are fine, your wiring too and from the MJ coil pack etc needs checking......

hope this helps you

ring problems are down to wear or abuse but although annoying it isn't a show stopper

RTS and new turbo, plus manifold to allow fitment of new turbo.

I reckon the master is dead. The slave isnt leaking. The system ended up with air in at the Pod. Since them we've just bled it and cracked on.

If the clutch is actually slipping, just stick another plate in to get you through this year. The orange is holding perfectly well. We'll get an RTS in there over the winter.

In the 13's at last!.. Just
