Australia oi oi oi!

Hi lads,

im going to get some one to mod my r1 rad.

would love a bit of help with doing front mount. im a bit confused.

ill post some photos up with paint of the rad & it's mods i want.

is this correct? or would you do it another way? this is the header tank i have with a 13psi cap? & one blanking cap on the rad.

the R1 rad is a perfect in the a mini, with no dizzy, just not sure if i need to mod or just use it as is & just plumb up a few t pieces. the seller said he would mod it for cheap.

i would like to try use the header tank and other bits to keep the cost down i have the pipes already.

lastly do you think this ill cool ok? R1 is about 165 bhp but it is also alot lighter etc.

Where do the ones marked 'block' go to?

I think it would work better with the top uotlet actually at the top (unless you are doing something clever with those two little pipes).

As for size, as long as it has good airflow then it'll be fine.

I think he means 'block off' the two little outlets. *wink*

correct matty.. I meant BLOCK OFF 'will h' sorry about the confusion.

So what i have is correct? i can move the top pipe further up that is no problem.

other then that?? would you run that small bottom outlet through the head? where the heater tap would be? any point?

also should i return one of the outlets into the thermostat? is that tank ok? or should the pipe be at the bottom?
