i have no restrictor and run 60psi oil pressure when cold and 55/60 psi when hot my turbo has a -4 feed and there is certainly no oil getting past the seals exhaust side, with a slight smear compressor side

sorry..i think maybe i should have worded it differently...what side should i drill out the banjo oil feed bolt...inn mm's ??? the oil feed line is 8mm tube which i will bend and weld...

Do you mean oil drain? Oil feed .is the braided hose that goes to the front of the block, oil drain is the drain into the rear on the block, look at my thread how I did mine, its a heater take off which is perfect for the turbo end, and a blanking plate with a 13mm hole drilled in it, and used a oil pick u pipe., with a 90bend in silicone.

I never measured, I know the thread is m10x1, so around the 10mm mark, there only about a tenner to buy the banjo and the bolt, but of course it means using braided and fittings instead of welding 8mm pipe, here's the links anyway

thanks guys..did infact search..i see many have gone this route..saw pics of the set ups too..but didnt see any mention of the size that was used etc. thanks a lot for the help. much appreciated guys... |

the temps wont be much higher than the oil temps imo, the compressor housing is aluminium anyway Yes i moved to the darkside |
