hello guys..
i am about the install a Gt2056 on my car and i was wondering what size the oil restrictor should be? i can see many people here already using this turbo on their car..so i am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. i will be fabricating the oil feed and it will fit the turbo oil inlet via a banjo/bolt..so the i need to know what how many mm's i need to drill out the restrcitor on the banjo bolt. any help greatly appreciated...

i have no restrictor and run 60psi oil pressure when cold and 55/60 psi when hot my turbo has a -4 feed and there is certainly no oil getting past the seals exhaust side, with a slight smear compressor side

and i dont think an of us are running restrictors tbh

Do you mean oil drain? Oil feed .is the braided hose that goes to the front of the block, oil drain is the drain into the rear on the block, look at my thread how I did mine, its a heater take off which is perfect for the turbo end, and a blanking plate with a 13mm hole drilled in it, and used a oil pick u pipe., with a 90bend in silicone.

If oil feed just you just need an m10x1mm banjo and bolt turbo end, then 1/8bsp adapter block end. Check my thread again.

hey benny..
hope you dont mind..i used your pic. basically need to know the size of the oil inlet (B) and oil outlet (A) on the banjo bolt in millimeters?

i just machined out the bolt..so i need to drill out the appropriate sizes on the A&B points of the bank bolt..

I never measured, I know the thread is m10x1, so around the 10mm mark, there only about a tenner to buy the banjo and the bolt, but of course it means using braided and fittings instead of welding 8mm pipe, here's the links anyway

the temps wont be much higher than the oil temps imo, the compressor housing is aluminium anyway
