I am new to one piece radiator cowls and I am planning to use one with an MPi block. I have two which have different bottom mounts.

I bought some new hardware to use and the bushings/grommets are not correct for both types. Were there some other mounting pieces or was one type mounted direct with no rubber bushing?

there are other slight differences, but it seems that the whole radiator assembly should be rubber mounted somehow

Early models where rubber mounted on the bottom and top, but I have seen solid bottom ones since, don't matter which one you use, the top brackets 1300cc and 1000cc are a different shape to one and the other..

PS There has been a few varying set ups, really is your choice..

The version with the grommets and sleeve seems to stay in place better than the other version. I don't want the fan banging the cowl.

That is why I thought maybe I was missing some pieces.
