I'm now looking into making my own front hubs / uprights, so as to get the geometry as near to optimum as pos, due to fitting 13" wheels.

one that gives the scrub radius you want ,using the diameter of wheel you want ?

I'd sugest starting with rover metro hubs ala Denis, you'll get a much better scrub radius,

As a result of this i cant run coilovers with slicks, but could probably *just* manage with my 195 road tyres and carefully positioned brackets.

There is no optimum layaout so to speek as each would be depandant on wheel and tyre used,

That was my thought Carl. Longer top and bottom arms, then offset the wheel back in.

So Carl will u still use the Mini KPI as you're insetting the wheels more, or opting for a slightly steeper KPI.

Gav, on the hubs i have just made i have moved ther bott balljoint out as far as i can , you can't go too far out as you are restricted by the disk, the top BJ is in the standard palce, this is all based on metro hub geometry.

Carl surely if you're moving the bottom BJ over as far as pos it will give a geater KPI than the Metros 10.5 Deg (there is supposed to be two KPI angles used on the Metros but the only one stated is 10.5), and with insetting the wheels you'll have near 0 scrub radius, thus no sellf centreing of the wheels.

Another thought with reduced scrub won't you need the drive shafts to telescope more? Own the day
