If you are going Turbo, why not whip another 1cc out of the head and use 18cc dished pistons.

At +0.020 this is around 8.5:1.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

ive already got my block as i want it really as i was able to get hold of a rebuilt block with standard turbo pistons. dont really want to be buying new pistons and getting bores enlarged when i have a suitable block at the moment. when all i need is a head with larger chambers

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

i could pop you in the chambers up to 26cc pm me if you want to go down that route, would save you a lot of money

There's no way you'll get 26cc out of the chambers if it's been skimmed & they're currently 19cc. *happy*

I'd agree with that. I'd say 3cc was pretty likely.

i believe that standard turbo pistons have a dish of 12cc is that correct?
therefore i will need chamber size of around 25cc then. il just have to wait for a more suitable head to come up.

Yes 12cc. With 25cc in the head you'll be around 8.6-1

Well thought about that but dont really want to ruin the integrity of the pistons

No i do like solving things but have been advised to not dish out my pistons and instead just get another head. How large have you had them made. I would need another 6cc out of them both collectively

IIRC correctly they were out to 14cc but Sprocket can confirm, as he did them.

There is lots of metal left at that size.

Edit: dam predictive texts

If you have set your sights on what you want then there no altering your train of thought
Dishing the pistons are no problem!

Deep chambered heads done on the Bridgeport and blended could easy get another 3 to 4 ccs in
there, plus the 3 been mentioned!!! . ..... so 25 cc is a total reality.

Hope this helps, . . . positive thinking is what's needed *happy**happy*:-
