I am changing worktops the weekend hopefully i have fitted worktops before so have some experience although i am no chippy.

I have a trend jig i bought for the previous joints however i will be fitting a breakfast bar and it does not have the shape i want, normally you use the jig to round off just the edges however i want to round off the end completely in a half moon shape if that makes sense?

Any thoughts on how i can do this as i don't think i could do it freehand and i cant find a jig.

Make yourself a circle cutter dude. Just a piece of mdf with the shape of the router on one end an a hole in the middle set to the distance on the other. Dunno a better way to describe it really an can't do a sketch as I'm on my phone..

Just looks like a small tennis racket really, router on the hole end an a hole at the other end.

Best way I can explain. I use one for cutting out circular tables at work an shaping etc, used from the underneath I can't see it being a problem, just really shallow passes when you get toward the end not to burst an splay all the finish ontop.
