Sadly this years British Mini Showdown has been postpon+ drag racinged due to the wettest April on record causing the cancelling of the British Min Clubs Himley Hall event, which has subsequently been re-arranged for the 8th July. We have been trying to find another date but this may not be possible. Dave Hollis of the BMC said " Obviously the BMC are very passionate about the Showdown too, that is why we have continued to run the event for the last 18 years. It is just very unfortunate that through no ones fault just the good old British weather that Himley Hall had to be cancelled and the only date available to us was the 8th July, Shakespeare County Raceway have been wonderful with this difficult situation and will welcome us back for the Showdown next year"m Edited by Paul R on 19th May, 2012. The showdown is on. There are many of us going regardless of BMC, so it'll be the same - just no trophies unless we buy our own I seriously doubt it! |
