5/16" unf. The original bolts have a groove round them. Use stainless steel if you can get them I seriously doubt it! |

The ones I took out had the groove, I think that's why the guy was unsure! Thanks for the quick reply, I'll get some stainless! :).

cheap replacement panels use m8 captive nuts so ive used 12.4 Tensile steel allen bolts :) |

Why use ss just but some copper slip or nickle plate took mine out after 10yrs with no problem. Own the day

The heel board is original, so should be 5/16. Whatever bolts I use will be nicely coated in copper grease :). On 25th Sep, 2009 mini13 said:
