The fan doesnt kick in till the engine reaches 105c, thats pretty much in the red. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

Cheers Sprox, managed to sort this today thanks to the above info! I had a thought that if its boiling up then it musnt have been pressurising. So the expansion cap was swapped and its runnning perfect now.
