correct location, and that leads right to the back off number 4 cylinder. You should feel it when you brake through into the main jacket. Knock out the core plug, you may be able to see where your selling to.

I was very nervous about drilling this hole when your struggling to find a twist drill long enough to reach your destination, bearing in mind I'm using a small drill first to ease the way for a bigger drill, anyway finally got there at about 78mm deep at 10mm dia, which is pretty deep, need to sort out now what to use as a suitable connection..

PS. Thanks for help. Mr Joshua.

I tapped it 14mm and made up a block with a threaded extension to screw into that and then a side outlet from the made up block.

Probably much easier just to make up a right angled bend and screw that into the tapped hole.

M12 or M14 banjo fitting should do the trick, but the hole does need to be square to the sealing face.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

And , ideally, the sealing face should be milled square too !

It certainly needs cleaning up at the very least.

You can just tap it 1/2" npt and get an adapter to whatever you need from there (an6 ?), leak free and no milling or flattening reqd.

Sounds like the best idea so far.

Thanks for all your ideas Guys, not to sure about what to do at the moment, banjo union is out because the face is not good enough not flat and piece missing out of casting, so will be going for the elbow and possibility the AN fitting, now waiting again for some more bits for turbo, ie gasket and banjo unions for the turbo, will keep you posted..
