Hi guys,

Unfortunately I cracked an oil controll ring today crappy ring compressor *frown*

Can I use an oil controll ring from a standard 1275 piston in my 1293 turbo engine?

If they all measure up the same size then theres no reason not too, but only if they measure up.

oh wait a minute, no if its a 1275cc ring then it'll be all wrong on a 1293.

The gap is smaller on the 1275 when compared to the 1293 ring which seems weird. Iv heard of people using larger ones and cutting them down but for piece of mind I'll order another set tomorrow. Really annoying as I only need one ring.
