Just thought some on here might be interested to know tran-x are to close within the next 3 months.
I know some people on here are running their diff's and they supply some gearbox options to minispares. Not sure whats going to happen if the parent company are going to still drop out parts for us and other consumers though.
best be more careful with those differentials now! rebuild kits might not be readily available soon!

Yeah I got an email through last week saying this. Apparently there still trading at the moment though!

this makes me pissed off

Iv always thought of tran-x as the best plate diff supplier out there. wonder if they will be selling off at discounted rate, might buy a diff and a few plate sets now!
Who else is there to turn to now?
Gripper make one for the a-series but i find the construction odd. more plates on one side than t'other

my mistake, sure one supplier out there was stocking tran-x bits, minits comes to mind now

anyone know of any other plate diff' suppliers which are quite reputable?

Minits still stock tran x LSD I think, well as of the last month when I went up

Its not a problem, i can get hold of one quite easily, i work 2 minutes away from tran-x as well as the place i used to work used them all the time for pug 205 stuff and had a good relationship with tran-x.
i do however have a problem should i ever need a plate kit for a rebuild, these wont be available and ill have a useless diff.
