Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

I brought a set of these over Christmas from someone up,t north. Never sent them and I got my £240 back about a month later. Mini geometry with metro ball joints and a decent weight saving. |

My theory is that an alloy hub and a steel hub should net really look the same, I'd expect a lot more material on an alloy hub. I would not put these on any of my cars. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I must admit I don't like at all the third bolt in the standard steering arm. OK, the S is a bit fatter but it's definitely not thick enough for a 7/16 bolt. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:
Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem. |

Had someone voice concern over use of front alloy drive flanges but not the hubs. I must admit I am a little surprised by this and also glad I never got them now. |

My theory is the 7075 that the Minisport hubs are made of has comparable tensile and shear strength as good grade steel, steel is stronger than the cast iron that the original hubs are made of. I may not use them for what you do Wil, but Im more than happy with them on my car I seriously doubt it! |

They dont weld as nicely as steel, I dont know. Whatever they are - being cast theyre not as strong as billet steel which to me means the 7075 are no less strong than original
Edited by paul wiginton on 25th May, 2012. I seriously doubt it! |
